Byron Constable is the leading strategist on Royal Enclosure a project built in association with ST Cambridge to create a global brand designed around the culture and societies associated with the English Royal Heritage Sport of Horse Racing.  

For 7 years prior to Royal Enclosure Byron was head of operations and strategy for The Shanghai Race Club, a private racehorse owners club located in Shanghai that hosted horse racing associated events and built/owned the first live commercial (non gambling) streaming racing platform in Mainland China. This media platform developed in partnership with PPTV (China’s leading online sports streaming platform) and (British sports media owners) was viewed by over 10 million people across the nation and featured +3000 races.

Byron first entered the digital media industry in 1997 as a founder of Beijing based Madeforchina an advanced online advertising platform that enabled consumer brands to specifically reach 10 million profiled luxury goods buyers in Mainland China. This incredibly valuable service became an essential part of the media spend for many premium and luxury goods brands in Mainland China including Loreal, Sheseido, Li-Ning, BMW, P&G, Sony, Nike, China Mobile, Audi and Lacoste.

Private investors in Madeforchina include the executive founder of and the owner of At the time of the second round of investment Madeforchina held a valuation of US$16million. Byron left Madeforchina in 2007 to head up the Shanghai Race Club and then Royal Enclosure upon returning to England with his family.
